Our Story

The beautiful story of Crossroads is comprised completely in the unique make-up of the individuals who call Crossroads their home. Although vastly different in their journeys, there are 3 themes that bind each of us together in our shared story.

Meet God…

We encounter God at 9:15am & 10:45am every Sunday at Combs Traditional Academy, a public school in the heart of San Tan Valley.  We choose to worship at Combs Traditional Academy because we love this school and believe that God has called us to this place. We sing, pray and celebrate God's faithfulness by responding to what God is doing in our community and around the world.  We invite you to grab a cup of coffee as you enter our casual worship space and worship together with us.

Meet Friends…

We are real people infused with dynamic faith who are  joined together in the covenant love of our Creator.  We invite you to dive in with us to experience God's love.  We meet in two primary spaces, Missional Communities and Ministry Teams.  Missional Communities are small spiritual extended families that live together on mission as they care for one another and seek God together.  Ministry Teams are task-oriented groups that help us be the church, builds community and serves those in need.

Make Life Better…

Crossroads participates with God through neighborhood and global community partnerships to make a difference.  We believe community development is a long term commitment and not simple showing up one day to help others.  Crossroads specifically partners with the following organizations and groups to make a difference in our community and the world:

Combs Traditional Academy

House of Refuge

Navajo Evangelical Mission

Senegal Global Mission Initiative

Hope Women's Center

Grand Canyon Synod

What We Believe

The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that none may add or take away from it.

+ + +

The Trinity:

We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God.

+ + +

The Church:

We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new people in Christ Jesus.

+ + +

The Savior:

We believe that all that have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin.

+ + +

The Healer:

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the healer and that healing is provided for in the atonement.

+ + +

The Coming King:

We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all born again believers.

+ + +

The Gifts:

We believe that the Church should claim and express the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10).
